Logo design is not my strong point. The problem is that you never know when you are finished - the process can take between 10 minutes to 10 weeks!
You may be familiar with the feeling of sitting up listening to wierd music, applying the final touches to your design and then having to throw it all away and start again.
Here are my stages of designing the logo for my latest project...there are so many iterations it's stupid!
Where it all began:
Trying to trace it into the computer - not what I was hoping for:
Testing a few more ideas on the computer:
After a bit I decide to go away and try a couple more after getting my color scheme in order:
Getting close but I think I need to hit the notebook again - get ready, things get wierd!
My brother had a great idea of using the criss cross pattern that connects the optic nerves to the rear section of the brain.
Another crazy concept from my brother:
So I finally ended up with something I was quite happy with! So I jumped back into the computer and came up with this:
I then added some of those pretty colors:
My girlfriend gave me some great input! My wacky symetrical 'A' just wasn't quite readable - time to change it all again!
And the final version (for now...)
How do you think it came out in the end? Do you think this took a lot more steps than it should?
Good luck with your own logo endeavours, I hope they are easier than mine!
